Here’s details of the event just gone, but don’t forget that the Phoenix Festival of Printmaking continues.
We are delighted to announce that Brighton Maker Store will be back at Phoenix Brighton next weekend, alongside the Phoenix Festival of Printmaking.
We are a small group of creatives that believe in the value of designing & making beautiful, and desirable, functional objects by hand. We’ve always been authentic and sustainable. You can buy beautiful objects from well-known designer makers at the Brighton Maker Store. Come and meet the makers and see their work, as well as a selection of their hand tools and materials.
Ken Eardley; handcrafted individually designed pottery
Amanda Doughty; understated luxury, contemporary jewellery for men and women
Nicki Tarr; upholstery, chairsmith
Tabitha Bargh; sustainable lighting made entirely from corrugating cardboard.
Emma Johnson; functional homewares, often based around architecture.
Ruth Martin; print, paper, cards & curios.
Kathie Murphy; resin jewellery.
Anna Pugh; timeless leather bags.
Gardner Basket; handmade sustainable baskets.
Playroom; for rooms with imagination
Sarah Davies, Executive Director of Phoenix Brighton says, ‘We are thrilled to host Brighton Maker Store. Not only can you buy an original piece of beautifully presented hand-made work, but our visitors will have the chance to meet the makers face to face. This is a great addition to our busy programme of events at Phoenix’
